The Cốc Cốc Data Department is responsible for consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. The Data Analyst team partners closely with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to transform data into clear insights, enabling faster and more effective decisions.

 

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who plays a key role in turning data into insights that drive business and product decisions. This position requires strong analytical thinking, ownership of analytics deliverables, and close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Analytics & Insight

 

• Lead the gathering and clarification of BI & Analytics requirements from stakeholders across different functions.
• Design, define, and maintain key metrics, KPIs, and data measures aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and root causes behind business performance. Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and management.
• Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and recurring reports using data visualization tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across multiple data sources. Investigate data issues and work with engineering or data teams to resolve inconsistencies.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

 

• Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure data is correctly tracked and accessible.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams by translating business questions into analytical approaches.

 

Leadership & Mentorship

 

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level Data Analysts in analysis methods, SQL, visualization, and storytelling.
• Contribute to building a strong data-driven culture across the organization. Contribute to improving analytics workflows, standards, and best practices.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Must-have skills

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or Business Analyst roles.
• Strong foundation in statistics and analytical thinking, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and support decision-making with data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, subqueries, and multi-table joins.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Grafana, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings in a clear and structured way.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
   

 

Nice-to-have skills

 

• Experience working with large-scale or complex data systems.
• Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, or A/B testing.
• Experience mentoring or leading analytics initiatives.
