We are seeking talent Senior Software Engineer who has broad skills of technical knowledge and is ready for interesting challenges. As being part of our team, you will help to build our search engine that serves millions of search requests and provide meaningful features.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Apply the latest technologies to improve the core components of Coc Coc Search Engine (crawler, indexer, searcher)
• Analyze and improve our algorithms and machine learning models to increase the quality of Cốc Cốc Search.
• Work closely with Product and Project Managers to prioritize and implement new search features that are most relevant to Vietnamese users
• Work on solutions together with our Infrastructure and Data engineering teams to manage huge amount of data efficiently (billions of documents to collect, process and store)

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Required skills: 

 

• Strong coding capability with Java or C++ and Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, architecture, and object-oriented design).
• Designing/developing with large-scale distributed
• Strong proficiency with backend development, service-oriented architecture technology, SQL and NoSQL datastores.
• Experience with designing/developing Linux/Unix environments.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence or PhD will be an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.
  
  

Nice-to have skills:

 

• Deep domain expertise with search engines such as Elasticsearch, Solr,...
• Machine learning background is an advantage
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and technology solution stack and services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elastic Compute (EC2) instances, S3 static storage, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced
• Aware of the value of great teams and do what you can to help create amazing high performing
