Cốc Cốc Browser is a "Make in Vietnam" product. Based on the open-source project Chromium, Cốc Cốc has researched and developed new features that bring users a fast, safe, stable, and convenient browser. The iOS team is the people behind the development of Cốc Cốc Mobile Browser for iOS. We use Chromium as our base browser and build more features like AdBlock, Media Download, News Feed to make Vietnamese people happier by helping them get most of the digital world. 

 

Currently, we’re looking for a talented Software Engineer, iOS to join our iOS team. You’ll have a chance to develop the Vietnamese mobile browser used by millions of users. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build the native features like News Feed, Media Player, ... 
• Write the code to bridge between native and web view.
• Integrate new changes from Chromium to our codebase. 
• Well designed, written, tested and reviewed code.
• Collaborate with QA, PM, BA, UI/UX, UR team teams to define, design, and ship new features.  
• Work on bug fixing and improve application performance. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Required skills:

 

• From 3 years of proven working experience with Swift or Object-C.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as: Foundation, WebKit, AVFoundation, MediaPlayer, UserNotifications.
• Familiarity with REST service to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs: Firebase.
• Proficient understanding of MVC, MVVM, Singleton, Observer, Delegate…
• Familiarity with some code tools such as: Xcode, Visual Studio Code, Sublime Text. 

 

Preferred qualifications: 

 

• Experience with Object-C, C++, JavaScript and React Native framework.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (including reading-writing in English).
• Self-discipline, supportive and teamwork spirit. 

 

Soft skills:

 

• Good problem-solving. Can act promptly in a crisis.
• Good time management and planning.
• Able to adapt quickly to a variety of changes.
