The Quality Assurance team is responsible for performing in-scrum, acceptance, system, performance test activities for all Cốc Cốc browser and search engine products. The team strives to ensure that product activities are conducted to a high standard aligned with the right business priorities and needs. 

 

As a Test Engineer in Cốc Cốc, you will be the key person for the development of the solution. Your expertise will be at the service of the team to ensure the best choice in technology. You will ensure that the development environment has the best resources and provides the best guarantees for the success of the project. You will be responsible for the quality of the development and its compliance with the specifications and architecture decided by the project team. 

   

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

• Be responsible for the quality of company's products including mobile apps and web apps. 

• Be able to perform manual test to ensure the quality of products. 

• Work closely with Product manager and engineering team to understand business use cases which will help to ensure the quality of each and every release. 

• Be responsible for technical support of live production system.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

 

 Required qualifications: 

 

• 2–4 years of experience in a QA/QC role 

• Solid experience in manual testing, testing techniques, and testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing 

• Experience testing mobile applications, and working with a variety of iOS and Android devices 

• Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing 

• Good understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile processes 

• Ability to design test cases from Agile user stories and requirements 

• Experience with management and testing tools such as JIRA and Confluence 

• Logical thinking and good analytical ability; careful, thorough, and committed to not letting low-quality products out 

• Self-motivated and proactive in learning new things 

• Good communication and problem-solving skills 

• English: speaking and good writing skills 

 

Nice-to-have skills: 

 

• Experience in automation testing is a plus 

• Experience in API testing (Postman) and performance testing is a plus 

• Knowledge of databases (simple SQL queries) is a plus 

• ISTQB certification is a plus
