The IT Support team is a team within the Infrastructure & Support (I&S) department. This department is responsible for managing and operating all of the company's IT infrastructure, including online and local server systems, internet networks, and office equipment. They ensure everything runs smoothly and continuously, proactively planning backups or deploying system resources for new projects, and quickly resolving unexpected system failures. They also prevent external threats and cyberattacks, etc.
As an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will serve as the backbone of our daily office technology, ensuring that all hardware, software, and local network infrastructures run seamlessly. On a day-to-day basis, your main mission is to promptly diagnose and resolve technical issues for our team, while maintaining and configuring essential office equipment such as printers, projectors, and conference room Smart TVs. Your goal is not just to troubleshoot technical roadblocks, but to deliver exceptional end-user support that minimizes downtime, optimizes productivity, and ensures every employee has a smooth, frustration-free digital workplace experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support IT infrastructure of the company (PC, Printer, Camera Network, Software Hardware’s problem).
- Work with suppliers when purchasing new equipment and sending equipment for warranty service or repair when needed.
- Support for users of connected devices in meeting rooms (Smart TV, webcam, speakerphone, etc.) or for internal company online meetings.
- Support in managing IT assets (monthly inventory checks to ensure accurate quantities).
- Perform tasks assigned by your line manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- Good understanding of computer hardware, with the ability to quickly diagnose hardware/software problems. Experience of at least one year in a similar position is required.
- Knowledge of installing operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and common office applications.
- Possess basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, basic router/switch configuration).
Preferred Skills:
- Good English reading comprehension and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; polite and patient interaction with users.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
