We are seeking proactive and results-driven Business Development Collaborators (Freelancers) to support EdTech in generating and developing qualified leads for our team. This role focuses on social media outreach, community engagement, content seeding, and lead generation within IELTS and English-learning communities. The position offers a performance-based income model, with fixed commissions per qualified lead and/or a percentage of successful customer payments. 

 

1. JOB DESCRIPTION

 

• Generate qualified leads for the Telesales team through social media seeding, community engagement, and direct outreach across IELTS and English-learning communities.  

• Monitor relevant communities to identify potential customers seeking IELTS courses, Writing/Speaking feedback, or related learning solutions.  

• Engage with prospects via comments and direct messages, provide initial guidance, and introduce EdTech’s trial experiences and services.  

• Create and share valuable IELTS-related content with clear calls to action to attract and generate leads.  

• Build and maintain credible social media profiles or personal-brand accounts to support community engagement and lead generation.  

• Develop and manage a network of student/learner collaborators to promote EdTech through referral opportunities.  

• Collect and record key lead information, including contact details, current and target IELTS scores, and learning needs.  

• Handover qualified leads to the Telesales team via CRM within the same day and track lead quality and conversion outcomes.  

• Continuously optimize outreach and lead-generation activities based on performance. 

 

2. JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

• 6 months – 1 year of experience in social media seeding, Fanpage/Group administration, Business Development, Outreach, or Community Management, preferably in EdTech, English learning, IELTS, or related fields. 

• Strong social media awareness and community engagement skills, with a good understanding of online trends and the communication styles of Gen Z and parents. 

• Natural and engaging chat/inbound communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and initiate meaningful conversations without sounding scripted or automated. 

• Persistent, proactive, and comfortable with high-volume outreach and daily interaction activities. 

• Strong interest in IELTS and English learning; currently studying for or having taken the IELTS test with a score of 6.0 or above is a strong advantage. 

• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a flexible freelance environment. 

• Willingness to work on a performance-based compensation model tied to qualified leads and/or successful customer conversions.
