"Like everyone, my hobbies are really simple: Moving and grooving with my friends when the music goes on, and when I’m alone, it’s all about eating, relaxing, and reading. But as I joined Cốc Cốc, all of my “alone” hobbies are now drastically different, in a positive way. All of the seniors, and the colleagues are so friendly, even though we’d just met. Eating is always fun and relaxing while having “the bros” around. Even when I’m reading a book, there will be someone who knows and wants to talk about that book. Since joining Cốc Cốc, I’ve realized that “alone” is not an option =))) and it’s pretty fun to have many people around."
Be an “Explorer”
"I knew about Cốc Cốc through searching for a coding course, giving me more insightful knowledge on what I do. At that time, Cốc Cốc had this amazing Linux Fundamentals course for career starters, who want to learn more and do more. As it perfectly fitted with my choice, and provided me with a better view of the “Make in Vietnam” Browser and Search Engine company, without a doubt, I joined the course immediately. And not just the Linux course, at Cốc Cốc I also joined the PHP Fundamentals course and participated in so many activities. And by this time, I discovered something:
- Everyone should grab their chance, once in a lifetime, to become a Cốc Cốc-er to have a great career.
That’s why now I’m a real Cốc Cốc-er. And I’ve grown a lot, not just in my own profession, but also in my mindset. It has had a lot of changes since then. When coding, I now know the basics and use all the best values of new technology, and I get my opportunity here to have trials and courses to learn more and do more. Opportunities are everywhere, but so are challenges. Working in a team on “another level” like Product Engineering Team, personally, there are many pressures for me to strive to match with them. When I come to them with challenging questions, they always consult me with interesting solutions with reasons why came to those solutions. That's cool!
Besides, the HR team also impresses me. Maybe it’s the first time working in a big company like Cốc Cốc makes me feel that way. The HR team is so professional, and it’s a pleasure that I’ve known them and gotten the opportunity to work with them."
Working is fun
"Besides the nature of my work is not repetitive, everything just felt so exciting. And if I pay close attention, Cốc Cốc-ers also make their every workday more exciting.
For example, their tastes in clothing are “unique”, but not in a weird way. It has its own style and represents the characteristics of each individual. And it’s flexible, according to the weather. Cool is different, hot is different, and even a day with breezes “rings” a different style for them. Nowhere you can get that, besides being in the Cốc Cốc Hanoi Office. So it’s my time to show my true style too ^^
The second thing that impresses me is Cốc Cốc is full of activities and events. There will be Christmas soon, and I already have my part in some of the “promoting products” for Cốc Cốc’s employer branding :D And this will show my true talent for dancing, wait and see! Moreover, there are 20/10 Vietnamese Women’s Day activities, honoring learning spirit on 20/11 Teacher’s Day, and between them, there are many more, like the university students’ Company Tour, where we can interact with those youngsters,... Many new experiences since I joined Cốc Cốc. However, the most special memory was when Cốc Cốc held a Nail Shop, right in the middle of the office for the ladies. That activity was so exciting, I almost asked to have my nail done ^^"
Future for me and Cốc Cốc
"At the moment, my contribution to Cốc Cốc is still too little to count. But I do think many “little things” will make a greater thing, and that greater thing will help Cốc Cốc be the leader in connecting Vietnamese people to the digital world. How to bring the world to Vietnam, and how to update international information as quickly as possible, that’s what I would like to answer with Cốc Cốc, for Vietnamese users, and for the national technology.
And like what I shared above, Cốc Cốc is a place worth working for, at least once in your lifetime. And to be honest, where you get the “freakishly funny” friendliness of people showing to you. With me, it’s always easy to choose a working environment, but if I do choose, I’ll love to work for Cốc Cốc now and then. A healthy Cốc Cốc environment is not naturally built, but it’s built by the effort of a whole group. With each person making a contribution, the result will be “sweet”, and now, I also join hands to keep this “sweetness” better and get the chance to enjoy it."
